 * 1) Add an extra option to "fetch", which allows 
 *    the expected size of the file to be specified 
 *    in "fetch URL" mode. This should be easy to 
 *    implement, since fetch already trys to retrieve
 *    the file size for the progress indicator.

 *    unless inhibited in the make file (by adding
 *    the file to IGNOREFILES).

I think this is a wonderful idea.  If someone can implement it, I'm
all for it.
