I'm not the SO, but I know I don't like it.  This means the xcdroast 
port is doing chown/chmod on files that were installed by *other* 
ports.  To my knowledge, no other port does this and (as a user of 
cdrecord) I can't see any reason for making this change.

Maybe the MAINTAINER (CC-ed) could give the reasoning for this?
