zpool replace -f yeilds error that it is in use.

netflow-dc1# zpool replace -f tank /dev/mfid1
invalid vdev specification
the following errors must be manually repaired:
mfid1 is in use (r1w1e1)



If memory serves me right, sometime around 6:56am, remko@FreeBSD.org told me:
