The recent problem with Cobalt RAQs really had nothing to do with the
kernel.  It was related to poor security practice on Cobalt's part
(putting the root home and web home in the same place) and could have
easily been fixed without any modifications to the OS itself -  it was
not a Linux problem, it was an oversight on Cobalt's part.

It would have been nice to simply see them quickly release an
announcement with suggested fixes (as said before, the numerous fixes
are quick and easy).  However, it showed immaturity on Cobalt's part
when they attempted to blame the OS.

Still, quite discouraging.
