BTW: the failure of not being able to get IRQ 12 is the result of
probing the PS/2 mouse on the ISA bus given the default hints after
the failed attempt to probe the PS/2 mouse given the unrecognized
PnP id that we obtain from ACPI and the freaky behaviour of psm(4)
to reserve the IRQ in case it's being probed before atkbdc(4) is
probed. Removal of the hints suppresses the IRQ failure and yields
a silent misprobe...
