There are a lot of ways to emulate this. 1. use padl nss_ldap tweaks (see readme file) 2. use padl NIS/LDAP Gateway (if you have some money to spend) 3. use yptransitd 4. use easyLDAP (http://www.easyldap.org/?fbsd) hope it helps. regards clem
