Drew,

Thanks for you help.

I swapped the cable to the other serial port and was able to boot the CD 
and complete the install.

Do you know if there is there a CVS tag for the 5.0DP1 snapshot?

Hopefully I can use this box to learn more about FreeBSD and make a 
contibution at the same time.
