hello 
i run the following ...
FreeBSD mirror.askas.co.za 2.2.6-RELEASE FreeBSD 2.2.6-RELEASE #0: Mon
Dec  7 11:01:37 SAST 1998    
root@mirror.askas.co.za:/usr/src/sys/compile/mirror  i386
with a fairly standard kernel ...

When i try to install netscape communicator 5 from the ports i get the
following ...

"/usr/share/mk/bsd.port.mk", line 1: Malformed conditional

"/usr/share/mk/bsd.port.mk", line 2250: if-less endif
"/usr/share/mk/bsd.port.mk", line 2250: Need an operator
make: fatal errors encountered -- cannot continue
