I think that this is a cardbus card.  If so, it is not supported.
I had to buy a cheap NE2000 clone for my Inspiron 7K.  The good
news is that they are cheap; the bad news is that your fancy 
ethernet card is going to sit in a drawer until cardbus support
is finished.
