Might be so in the US, but over here you can buy both types still, so
applying US logic to the world doesn't work here (too).

I still think its a mistake to remove a driver that works, and
NOT providing an alternative. If we should apply this rule all over
to protect "users" there wouldn't be much of a system left.

Fine, I have no problem in seing a new driver being done, but I'd
like the old one to stay until then. I dont see however why we
should be generating this kind of work for ourselves, there is PLENTY
to deal with allready.
