yep.. not many of them answer mail unfortunately.

i think i'll avoid the wget :-)

ok, so there's no way to rsync a "working" web tree ? 

from the above cvs steps, i assume that you need
to be mirroring the branches/-current tree and then
do something in there to generate a set of web pages?
