Hi,

From Notes in man for select():
For historical reasons, select() will always examine the first 256 =
descriptors.

Has anybody corrected this ?? where can I get the patch ??

How good is select() system call in FreeBSD 3.5 and onwards ??
When FD_SETSIZE is really big like 32768.

thanks=20

-Manoj
