Aha! I already blew away the 10-CURRENT, downloaded the RC and installed =
(on
VMware). Now I can play with the stuff, including unbound, =
freebsd-update.
BTW, I always used csup, then moved to svn on my systems. This
freebsd-update (sorry I always felt scared about it), how does it handle =
a
situation where I have a custom kernel?

Hello
For me it works to rebuild the Generic kernel that installs after using
freebsd-update
by using a "custom file" and include GENERIC, just to make sure I don't =
miss
out on any
new and important stuff. I've added to my /etc/make.conf the line :
"KERNCONF=3DCUSTOM"
this way I only have to issue the command : "cd /usr/src && make
buildkernel"
to rebuild with the new sources and get my "CUSTOM kernel"

<snip>
include GENERIC
ident CUSTOM
