Updating the port to version 2.0.0 is as simple as changing the version in the Makefile, and leaving everything else (including the patch) as-is. I've been running it in production for several months now. What is the preferred way to get this port back? Revive the old one, or create a new port 'pecl-inotify2' ? On that note, I've no experience submitting ports, just modifying/creating them for my own servers. I'll probably be able to figure it out with the Handbook, but if the current maintainer wants to do it, I'll be happy to shoot him/her a diff or tar with my setup. Regards, Bernard
