Hi, the poweroff sequence doesn't power off in my Gericom Webgine. I can't find any hint of failure after the boot -v messages and the shutdown sequence does just fine but - after sending the poweroff - waits some seconds and says that i should turn it off manually or reboot with a keystroke. I use a "fixed" DSDT.aml, follows the diff with the original. I can't host the asl for a link, but I'll be pleased to send it. < OperationRegion (M4D0, SystemMemory, 0x04D0, 0x08) --- > OperationRegion (M4D0, SystemMemory, 0x04D0, 0x06) the acpidumped asl contains a text ("WN2K", "WNSE", "WNME", " ") and I already tried in vain setting hw.acpi.osname="WN2K". this is my system: ~> uname -a FreeBSD xinia.lilith 6.1-RELEASE FreeBSD 6.1-RELEASE #1: Wed May 10 09:54:54 CEST 2006 root@xinia.lilith:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/XINIA i386 here follows my sysctl: # sysctl hw.acpi hw.acpi.supported_sleep_state: S1 S4 S5 hw.acpi.power_button_state: S5 hw.acpi.sleep_button_state: S1 hw.acpi.lid_switch_state: NONE hw.acpi.standby_state: S1 hw.acpi.suspend_state: S1 hw.acpi.sleep_delay: 1 hw.acpi.s4bios: 0 hw.acpi.verbose: 1 hw.acpi.reset_video: 0 hw.acpi.cpu.cx_supported: C1/0 C2/10 hw.acpi.cpu.cx_lowest: C1 hw.acpi.cpu.cx_usage: 100.00% 0.00% hw.acpi.thermal.min_runtime: 0 hw.acpi.thermal.polling_rate: 10 hw.acpi.thermal.tz0.temperature: 45.0C hw.acpi.thermal.tz0.active: -1 hw.acpi.thermal.tz0.passive_cooling: 0 hw.acpi.thermal.tz0.thermal_flags: 0 hw.acpi.thermal.tz0._PSV: -1 hw.acpi.thermal.tz0._HOT: -1 hw.acpi.thermal.tz0._CRT: 85.0C hw.acpi.thermal.tz0._ACx: 70.0C -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 hw.acpi.battery.life: 100 hw.acpi.battery.time: -1 hw.acpi.battery.state: 0 hw.acpi.battery.units: 1 hw.acpi.battery.info_expire: 5 hw.acpi.acline: 1 the rest of acpi works perfectly, I would really like to be helped in fixing the problem. Can anybody help me? Thanks! ___________________________________ L'email della prossima generazione? Puoi averla con la nuova Yahoo! Mail: http://it.docs.yahoo.com/nowyoucan.html
