            Bug ID: 220807
           Summary: databases/gdbm compat option name conflict?
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: johans@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: cstdenis@ctgameinfo.com
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(johans@FreeBSD.org)
          Assignee: johans@FreeBSD.org

Databases/gdbm tries to install compat6x-amd64 as a dependancy.

# pkg upgrade gdbm
New packages to be INSTALLED:
        compat6x-amd64: 6.4.604000.200810_3

Installed packages to be UPGRADED:
        gdbm: 1.12 -> 1.13_1
        readline: 6.3.8 -> 7.0.3

I think this is caused, not by an actual need for compat6x, but by the
unrelated COMPAT option in the port for "dbm/ndbm compatibility".=20

If this is the case, the option in the port and it's plist should be rename=
d to
not conflict.
