>Release: FreeBSD 3.0-BETA i386
>Environment:

3.0-BETA with the teTeX-0.4 port installed.

>Description:

The teTeX-0.4 port installs a version of GNU install-info that differs
from the system's version (namely, it does not accept the --defentry
and --defsection options). If root has /usr/local/bin in $PATH while
running make installworld, the build will fail because it relies on
install-info to install documentation for (amongst other items) the
com_err library.

>How-To-Repeat:

# cd /usr/ports/print/teTeX
# make install
# cd /usr/src
# make world
[...]
===> lib/libcom_err/doc
install-info --defsection="Programming & development tools." --defentry="* libcom_err: (com_err). A Common Error Description Library for UNIX." com_err.info /usr/share/info/dir
install-info: unrecognized option `--defsection=Programming & development tools.'
Try `install-info --help' for a complete list of options.

>Fix:

One of the following:

    a) Do not install install-info with the teTeX-0.4 port / package.

    b) Use an absolute path to install-info in make installworld.
