I discover that the freeze happen when vnodes from the /var filesystem
(da1s1h) are in the Locked vnodes. This is the only filesystem with
 quota.

I disable quota in /etc/rc.conf.local and remove userquota from the
/var line in /etc/fstab. The kernel config still contains 'options
 QUOTA'.

the system is up for 11 days now and all seems OK

I really think that this quota deadlock must be part of the errata of
6.0. I lost all december and a part of january chasing this problem...
