I've continually been unable to get into cvsup1-5 all week, at all
different hours. Either fbsd is damn popular all of a sudden, or
something else is up.

My usual is cvsup3, as it is 2 hops from me. And it responds,
very quickly, with access denied, user limit exceeeded.
