hello there. i am having a problem getting my digital ethernet card to work. i can run ifconfig de0 xxx.xxx.xx.xx 255.255.255.0 media 100BaseTX and it seems to run fine at 100 mbps. now, i have a 10mbs hub. ifconfig de0 xxx.xxx.xx.xx 255.255.255.0 media 10BaseT/UTP produces the following error: ifconfig: sipcsifmedia: device not supported typing just ifconfig de0 in the last line says that: supported media: autoselect 100BaseTX <full-duplex> 100BaseTX So why is 100BaseTX there twice? Also, is this my network card that doesn't support 10baseT or can i force it to run at 10mbs somehow? (network card bought from infotel , has a digital chip on it). TIA. Val.
