Just a question : is there a way (kernel option ?) to disable Hyperthreading, so that FreeBSD only uses two physical CPUs ? I am running FreeBSD 4.8-RC on a Compaq ML370 dual-Xeon, and disabling HT in the BIOS has no effect.
