>Description:
When using xorg-server version 1.6.0,1 and the proprietary nvidia driver in Xinerama mode X will crash with segmentation fault when holding down one or more keys.

This happens with nvidia-driver versions 180.29, 180.44 and 180.51.
Nvidia driver was compiled with and without linux support, acpi and freebsd agp. There difference is the same.
It has been tested with both ION and fvwm windows managers.

It can be tested by opening af file in vi in an xterm and pressing down arrow-down. X will crash with:

Fatal server error:
Caught signal 11. Server aborting

It also happens when using ION and one moves from one screen to the other.
And it also happens if one uses xscreensaver to lock the screen.

Parts of it can me mitigated by turning off auto-repeat in X with: xset -r
However X still crashes when using xscreensaver.

It has been tested on two Fujitsu-Siemens SCENIC P320 desktops. Both are configured the same. Graphics card is Nvidia 8600GT with 512MB RAM.
It only happens when two TFT displays are in use.

There is a bug report in the debian bug system that sounds like the same issue:
http://www.mail-archive.com/debian-bugs-dist@lists.debian.org/msg638485.html
perhaps it is a bug in xorg-server 1.6?

>How-To-Repeat:
Nvidia graphics card with two displays and xinerama enabled.
xorg-server 1.6.0

Open a xterm. Open a file with some text in vi. Hold the arrow key down (probably any key).
