After investigation of kernel core, I found that DES's patch has problem when non-socket fd is passed to ioctl(SIOCGIFFLAGS). SIOCGIFFLAGS (linux_gifflags()) assumes that ifp is not NULL, but if type is not socket, ifp is left NULL. How should this be fixed?
