I was looking for a PC emulator to run Win95/98 in X window and found bochs. The problem is that bochs site is extremely short and does not have any support. So, i am wondering if anybody got Win98 running under bochs (from ports-current) in FreeBSD 3.1? I cannot even boot from a bootable floopy made under win98 (but it is pretty much usual dos bootable disk, just io.sys, msdos.sys and command.com) It croacks with "prefetch: EIP > CS.limit". Any ideas? Also, are there any other emulators which do the same thing but do it better ?
