Will be using fbsd 4.9-rel. Is it a good idea to use NIC's from different manufacturers? Same manufacture? Non-3com? ... As far as performance issues are concerned, is one brand better than another? This will not be doing any bridge/routing... I will be using the secondard NIC as a private rfc1918 network.
