The following reply was made to PR kern/60982; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Gavin Atkinson <gavin.atkinson@ury.york.ac.uk> To: bug-followup@FreeBSD.org, chris@behanna.org Cc: Subject: Re: kern/60982: [pci] [patch] ID for VIA 686A Power Management Unit (for 4-STABLE) Date: Wed, 11 Apr 2007 20:08:54 +0100 This can probably be closed. Submitter said it worked in -CURRENT, which was 5-CURRENT at the time, and as a result this should be supported by all now-supported versions of FreeBSD. As far as I can tell, the most this ppatch did was to "eat" the device node anyway - it didn't enable any actual functionality.
