I just purchased one of these, it had spindle problems(would not spin up, tech said it was bearing problems). I sent it back for another one, I had the same problems. I replaced the second bad one, for a Seagate Barracuda ST15150W 4.29 GB Wide drive. The Cuda is working great, just make sure you have redundant cooling for these drives.
