Yes.

Configuration of what?  Kernel? hardware?  I'm using a 386dx33 with 8M,
IDE disk, an NE2000 clone and the GENERIC kernel.  All I did was turn
nfs_server ON in /etc/sysconfig, edit /etc/exports and reboot.
