Machine refuses to boot when 'atapicam' is defined in kernel, except when booted in safe mode.  The 'ISHTAR' kernel has DDB, KDB, and atapicam defined in addition to the 'GENERIC' kernel.

This may be a duplicate of PR i386/78929.
