I'm aware it works with GENERIC, since it finds my Highpoint controller on
start up. My concern is with compiling my own kernel. Maybe I just dont
understand the concept well enough, but isnt there some value I need to set
for my controller to work with my custom kernel? Scsi cards of various types
have 3-character "values"(?)...does my UATA 66 controller not?

Thanks for any help,
click46
