There should be some info on the web site under "releases".  SNAPs are 
shots of the system as it stands on that day.  They're usually pretty 
stable, but there may be some hidden bugs.

I just checked ftp.freebsd.org, and the 0303 and the 0321 (that was being 
built last time I checked it) have been removed.
