Well, I can't answer what it detected as media option for me... I didn't
checked that.

What I looked for was if I got any timeouts when I used FTP to transmit a
large file (around 80 MB). With the VIA-version of the driver I got
timeouts and the board hanged. I could get it up again after I had aborted
the FTP transfer and performed several ifconfig fet0 up/down's.

With my earlier patches I can transmit the 80MB file without problem. I
know for sure that the vr-driver detects it as 100 MB/full duplex because
I have tried to play around with that setting earlier.
