FreeBSD dhcppc0 8.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 8.0-CURRENT #8: Mon Oct 16 17:50:39 UTC 2007 richardpl@dhcppc0:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/KERNEL i386
>Description:
After fresh reboot and if current powerd state is adaptive:
# powerd -a adaptive -b adaptive -n adaptive
# primes 44

After some calculations terminal (vtty) display will lock.
But system is still completly usefull (except that nothing new is displayed on monitor, even if Xorg is started)

It is probably also still present in 7.0 PRELEASE
>How-To-Repeat:
run this on fresh reboot

# powerd -a adaptive -b adaptive -n adaptive
# primes 44

but it is somehow not 100% reproducible with this (read: it doesnt work all the time) happens with both ULE and 4BSD, but it seems that with 4BSD is more reproducible (every time when I tested kernel with 4BSD it actually lock the display)
