Hmmm... This didn't sit right with recent memory. I had a look at the
ftp site, and I noticed,

lrwxrwxrwx   1 2035  207         19 Jan 27 07:59 3.1-STABLE -> branches/3.0-stable

What is wrong with this picture? Or what is wrong with my
understanding of the version numbering?
