Er, are you sure the Trantor is supported by either OS? I have a ProAudioSpectrum Plus that has a trantor controller on it and it's not. Also note you won't be able to boot from it. What is your current disk? If you can mount the new disk, you'll have to prepare it manually then either install to it or examine your system and copy over the appropriate files. Again, you won't be able to boot from this controller, since it doesn't have a boot ROM.
