FreeBSD yyy.zzz.com 6.2-RELEASE FreeBSD 6.2-RELEASE #0: Fri Jan 12 11:05:30 UTC 2007 root@dessler.cse.buffalo.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/SMP i386
>Description:
Loader tunables kern.dfldsiz and friends are not documented in loader(8)/loader.conf(5) nor in the Handbook. There is a reference in the release note for 4.5R/i386, but apparently nothing made it into mainstream documentation.

The tunables are enumerated in /boot/defaults/loader.conf, other available references are:
http://www.lemis.com/grog/diary-mar2005.html
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/freebsd.html

>How-To-Repeat:
See loader(8)/loader.conf(5), search web pages for dfldsiz
>Fix:
Suggest: adding a better pointer from loader(8) and/or loader.conf(5) to /boot/defaults/loader.conf, unless it's considered worth documenting these explicitly in the man page(s); and add a subsection to the Handbook section 11.13.
