Proj. Primer Message-ID: <19990420214541.A692@catkin.nothing-going-on.org> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii X-Mailer: Mutt 0.95.4i Organization: Nik at home, where there's nothing going on Sender: owner-freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Folks, There's the latest and greatest HTML translation of my Doc. Proj. primer at http://www.freebsd.org/~nik/primer/index.html and http://www.freebsd.org/~nik/primer/book.html (the latter is one large HTML file, the other leads to the split files). By popular demand, this is now also in the FreeBSD CVS repository (or will be shortly after this message goes out), which lets me test out how well splitting up doc/en/handbook/Makefile has gone. If you keep a checked out copy of the doc/ tree somewhere on your machine (or you maintain a copy of the CVS repository and do it that way) you should be able to % cd /_path_to_checkout_/doc/en/tutorials/docproj-primer % make DOC_PREFIX=/_patch_to_checkout_/doc all which should build the HTML version. Note 1: You must have doc/share/* checked out as well. Note 2: You don't need to set DOC_PREFIX if the checked out files live under /usr/doc/. The majority of changes are to the first section, the introduction to SGML. Hopefully people will find it friendlier.
