I am trying to setup an Lucent = Technologies/Orinoco=20 WaveLAN Wireless IEEE = 802.11b=20 card.  I saw in the kernel config file that there was support for=20 this type of card and I had hoped that it would detect = the card=20 on install and I would only have to do some small amount = configuration.  I=20 have since discovered that it is not that simple.  I have found the = "pccard.conf" and "rc.pccard" files.  I added the startup options = into my=20 rc.conf and on boot up it attempts to start pccardd, but say's card = is not=20 configured.

oh, and I am using a ISA PMCIA = socket adapter=20 card into which the WaveLAN card plugs into, not a=20 Laptop.

I would=20 appreciate any insight or documentation anyone may have on = setting up=20 such a device.

Thanks
