FYI, the maintainer can be any single e-mail address.  It is usually
set to a single person but there are many cases where it's a group
alias or a public mailing list.

Didn't you notice that the default (when MAINTAINER is not set in the
port's Makefile) is "ports@FreeBSD.org" ? :)
