Okay, I've got about 260 IP aliases on my machine now.. When I try to start named manually, I get the following: Feb 22 10:04:46 prescott named[691]: starting. named LOCAL-951116.090057 Thu Nov 16 09:00:57 1995 jkh@westhill.cdrom.com:/usr/src/usr.sbin/named Feb 22 10:04:46 prescott named[691]: socket(SOCK_DGRAM): Too many open files - exiting Are they related? Should I mess with these settings: net.inet.udp.maxdgram = 9216 net.inet.udp.recvspace = 41600 --Steve (http://pr.erau.edu/~swaits)
