Okay, I've got about 260 IP aliases on my machine now..

When I try to start named manually, I get the following:

Feb 22 10:04:46 prescott named[691]: starting.  named LOCAL-951116.090057
Thu Nov 16 09:00:57  1995     jkh@westhill.cdrom.com:/usr/src/usr.sbin/named
Feb 22 10:04:46 prescott named[691]: socket(SOCK_DGRAM): Too many open
files - exiting

Are they related?

Should I mess with these settings:

net.inet.udp.maxdgram = 9216
net.inet.udp.recvspace = 41600
