Is there another scsi disk before this one that it finds first? You may
need to have a look in /usr/src/sys/i386/conf/LINT to "wire down" this
device to be a specific drive.

Did you change the id on the scsi disk?

Does it actually start to boot FreeBSD?

What errors do you get?
