Every more or less- serious bug can pose security-related problems.
E.g. there were some bugs in the unit testing framework, that can lead
to some parts of the code pass the tests being incorrect. Under
security-related, I mean that the update is highly recommended, since
some fixes are very serious.

BTW, I'm in ports-security@ too :-)
