If current UNIX users are still limited to an ancient piece of garbage like
Netscape 4.x for browsing, maybe Microsoft et al. have a point about UNIX
restricting a user's choices.  Netscape is history in the PC and Mac worlds,
especially a version as ancient and buggy as 4.x.

But if you move off the UNIX platform, you have a choice of several
excellent browsers.  QED.
