Looking at the installation documentation, I found that the 3Com 3C905C card was supported so I bought one for the new system. When booting from intallation floppy with the new 3C905C network card installed, the card was not recognized. I tried the CLI option during boot to see what the card settings were. There was no xl0 driver shown! I don't understand how the card can be listed as supported if there is no driver on the boot disk for installation. No drivers were shown for any of the cards which I saw at CompUSA. How am I supposed to install FreeBSD with NFS with the 3C905C network card?
