the kernel was compiled with -g.  gdb and nm aren't able to tell me what
those pc and ra numbers refer to.  (i figured this info would be requested
since someone asked for it the last time i posted about a panic.)
http://rbw.myplace.org/files/panic/ has my kernel config file and the
relevant lines from /var/log/messages .

anyone have any ideas?
