Hello Ed, Tuesday, September 23, 2008, 9:33:31 PM, you wrote: > http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=posix_openpt&apropos=0&sektion=0&manpath=FreeBSD+8-current&format=html > I get presented the posix_openpt manpage from FreeBSD 7.0, instead of > the one from -CURRENT. This is not a real bug, just a bit awkward - the manual page is from the system you have choosen (i.e. 8.0-CURRENT/5.3-RELEASE) however, the box serving the manual pages is runnig 7.0, that's why the foother of the manual page say's it's 7.0. The content should be find however. Please note that the man pages for 8.0 might be a bit outdated, I am not sure how often these get updated. People use to poke doceng@ (or someone else?) from time to time and they update it :-) -- Best regards, Daniel mailto:danger@FreeBSD.org
