Dear Ports Team, (not subscribed to list, followup directly please) You are all doing a great job! Keep it up! I see that the Ports tree is provided as a GZIP'ed tar file from http://www.freebsd.org/ports/. I am surprised why a Bzip2 version is not provided? I locally recompressed it, and the Bzip2 file comes to quite a smaller size *relative* to the Gzip'ed file: crashbox# du ports.tar.gz 24928 ports.tar.gz crashbox# du ports.tar.bz2 19040 ports.tar.bz2 Just a suggestion anyway. :-) Hiten Pandya hmp at freebsd.org
