Presumably you have a local network problem involving active versus passive FTP or perhaps a Path MTU discovery issue, although you might simply have PACKAGESITE set wrong, too. :-) Does "ifconfig _en0_ mtu 1400" fix it, where you replace _en0_ with the NIC you have...? -- -Chuck
