Folks, just an FYI for people interested in analyzing network traces created by isdntrace -B. The upcoming release of Ethereal will support reading ISDN4BSD trace files. It is a GUI based tool for protocol analysis, and it is much nicer than poring over thousands of lines of printout. For more information, go to http://ethereal.zing.org If you're interested, get the current version out of CVS or wait 'till the next release. Please note that the code has not undergone any formal testing. The D channel decodes look to be pretty much in line with what isdntrace itself says. Its major claim to fame is being able to decode V.120 packets on the B channel (other B channel packets will just appear as a hex dump). Let me or the Ethereal developers know if you find any bugs relating to the ISDN packet decodes! Cheers, -- Bert Bert Driehuis -- driehuis@playbeing.org -- +31-20-3116119 Hi! I'm a signature virus!
