This caught me cold footed... I had cvs updated /usr/src/sys and went
through about four interations of extremely unstable kernels before I
realized that I had forgotten to update /usr/src/contrib/sys
(i.e. the softupdates part of the kernel).

    Oops!

Anyone using softupdates needs to remember to update both parts of the
source tree. Updating just /usr/src/sys isn't good enough.
